Race One: run and won

That was the first I'd heard that the tyres from Qualy 2 were what the cars started the race on. Are Pirelli running the show? Rules, rules and more rules. Yep Hairy Dan copped a speeding-under-red penalty and fair enough but then did the team make the right tyre choice in Q2?
As for Tonto blaming his bungle on a software glitch, "it must have been Windows". And why did they hold Blingy back to cruise around behind Seb. No wonder he was fuming after the race. Tyres again no doubt?

All in all a good season opener I thought, Dan finished where he should have IMO. I know.. it's just not cricket. And what's with this ball tampering anyway. Lewis was pretty public about it on several occasions.

Roll on Bahrain (and Tassie for the tin-tops). Now if we can get Zak Brown a little more excited about his F1 team and a little less excited about his Supercar outfit, we may see our man Fernando show some progress as he did yesterday with the new Renault power unit.

BTW-- did anyone see this on the TV coverage? Every time I saw a frontal shot of Seb Vettel I could see those Lightning McQueen eyes, what you think??
