Kimi second but not second best.

If I'm here too long I'll melt.
Even though the principality served up the usual procession I enjoyed the race. What matters to us read on..
After a lowly start Ol' Bling Eyes made it to the points after leaping from 13th to finish in 7th. Granted he did have some help with a couple of cars dropping out ahead of the Mercedes but he did manage to pass a few cars along the way. Hairy Dan the Man who was hard done by (bhis team) in qually was unable to make ground on the red cars brought the RB home in p3. Our boys 'the Pinkies' after a few mishaps made it home on the lead lap, it was a tough race for them. Even though Esteban finally finished ahead of his fellow pinky Sergio he missed out on any points this time out. Team Sudaria were stoked with their two cars finishing one two after so many years of catch-up. Kimi really had his hopes up for the race after qualifying on pole but a little strategy and some strong peddling mid race saw Seb take the lead. Here's a little ice from Kimi's press conference post race..

Raikkonen said: “I don’t know. Obviously it didn’t work out very well for me. Other than that…not much I can say about it.
“It’s still second place, but it doesn’t count a lot in my books at least.
“It doesn’t feel awfully good – that is how it goes sometimes. One of those days we should have had a bit more.
Amid suggestions his race strategy was chosen in a way that would benefit Vettel’s title hopes, when asked why he pitted when he did, Raikkonen added: “I was called in. That is about it.
“Obviously they had reasons for it, but it is not up to me to answer.
“I can stop the car if I like (in the pits) as I am driving it, but we work as a team and if you don’t believe what you have been told or how it works it will get very complicated.
“Today as a team we wanted a one-two, it happened, but for myself, I could have done a bit better.
“I haven’t seen the big picture, I only know that we came second.
“The team got a one-two, which is great for the team, but the rest – until we have meetings and we can see all the graphs I don’t know.”

I dunno either Kimi. We just move on to Canada and have another go.
