It's been a while..

Say no more..
And it certainly has been a while. No, I haven't been on holiday. To be blatantly honest I've been bloody bored with what has been going on with both electric guitars and racing cars. The Gibson saga continues and Fender have gone completely nuts remodelling their entire range of Strat's and Tele's in a last ditch attempt to stave off the creditors, well lets hope not but I do see signs of desperation.

Over in F1 land it's been the same old same old Blingy verses Seb and in the V8's it's Scotty Mac verses Gizzy. Yawn yawn. Speedway is in hibernation here only to be saddened by the tragic news of sprintcar ace Jason Johnson's passing in a racing crash in the US. Jason has been a regular visitor to Aus these past years and much loved by the local fans. On the speedway front Kerry Madman Madsen will be contesting the WSS but won't be bringing his own ride. Instead he will be running the Krikki brothers hire car that we have seen Tatnell and Jamie Veal, the real deal, peddling these past few seasons. It's a bit of a shame that Kerry won't be in his own car as it means we will be one top car down. About the only good thing we see in F1 since I was last around is that the Ferrari has got their beans together and taking up the fight with the Silver Arrows. It has really shaken up ol' Blingy as can be seen on the podium's recently.

Hopefully I can hang on to my position here as head writer for Electric Guitars and Racing Cars and will be back into posting regularly. Geeez! If only there was something to write about.
