So where have I been?

The #2 Courtney/Perkins boost mobile. Thanks Herald Sun for lovely the pic.
I have been holidaying in Disillusioned Land, away from electric guitars and racing cars. Away from the fiasco that was the Autobarn Bathurst 1000 where the poor bugger that was leading the race and going for the win picked up a severe case of leg cramp.
Dave Reynolds is no doubt a quick driver but trying to make it two in a row and if you don't have a good nights sleep prior to Sunday's race then you're not going to make it.
It was great to see Mr Autobarn himself, Lowndesy and team mate Steve Richards show all the young bucks how it's done.
They may have been outsiders but Andretti's men, James Cortney and the Perkin's kid put on an impressive showing until their engine expired. They showed great speed, quicker than the team car of Scotty Pye and old Luffy who rode in for second. If the Courtney/Perkins donk had held together the out come could have been much different. Roll on Bathurst 2019.
